Partial Payments

Updated over a month ago

Cryptocurrency transactions can be complex and involve factors such as network congestion, transaction fees, and price volatility. It's important to remain patient and follow the specific steps and options provided by the cryptocurrency exchange or wallet to ensure the successful completion of the transaction

Incomplete Transactions

If you have an incomplete cryptocurrency transaction, you should receive an email notification about the transaction status and what to do next.

  • Paying the Remaining Amount

If the transaction was incomplete due to insufficient funds or a change in the cryptocurrency value, this option will allow you to pay the remaining amount due and complete your transaction.

IMPORTANT:

If you fail to take any action within a certain timeframe, your transaction may be lost.

What causes payments to fail?

  • Each invoice is valid for a specific amount of time. The payee must send the payment to the blockchain within this timeframe. This happens automatically upon payment.

  • Some cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges batch transactions and as such may not confirm them in time.

  • Some wallets and exchanges deduct fees from the amount being sent, potentially leading to underpayments and payment failures.
