Prime Account
The Scaling Plan is a career roadmap built to reward consistency. Earn three rewards on your Master Account, click UNLOCK to Unlock your Prime Account, then hit the profit target at each level and compound up through the Scaling Plan. Reach Level 10 and you become a Certified FundingPips Trader.
- After 3 rewards on your Master, reward requests pause. Click UNLOCK on the dashboard; your next reward unlocks your Prime Account.
- Hit 10% cumulative profit on Prime and request a scale-up; your account grows by +30% of the current level's size.
- 70% reward split with daily rewards available on Prime. Request as many times as you want, everyday!
- Level 10 or $2M Prime Capital unlocks Certified FundingPips Trader status and investor capital through Tradin, our partner CFD broker.
Before your 3rd reward, your account operates as a normal Master Account. Trade your strategy, manage your risk, and request rewards on your selected cycle.
The profits made after your 3rd reward will be used towards unlocking your prime account.
When you're ready, click the UNLOCK button on your dashboard and confirm by typing UNLOCK in the confirmation dialog. Your next reward funds the Prime Account at a model-specific multiplier; the Master closes and a new Prime Account is created.
- Minimum profit Minimum profit on your Master reaches at least 2% of the Master's account size, maximum is 10%. Once it's reached, trading is disabled.
- Reward Cycle You are at your selected reward cycle date and all trading objectives related to your account model need to be met.
At the moment of Unlock, your reward cycle split is applied to your total profit. Your split is then multiplied by your model's multiplier to set your Prime Account size.
Pick your Master Account size and model, then drag the slider to see your starting Prime Account size update in real time. Each model carries its own multiplier (2 Step ×10 · 2 Step Pro ×16.67 · 1 Step ×16.67 · Zero ×20).
Total Profit = $10,000 (the maximum the Master can earn).
| Model · Cycle | Your split | × Multiplier | = Prime size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Step · 80% Bi-Weekly | $10,000 × 80% = $8,000 | ×16.67 | $133,360 |
| 2 Step · 60% Weekly | $10,000 × 60% = $6,000 | ×10 | $60,000 |
| 2 Step Pro · 80% Weekly | $10,000 × 80% = $8,000 | ×16.67 | $133,360 |
| Zero · 95% Bi-Weekly | $10,000 × 95% = $9,500 | ×20 | $190,000 |
Total profit = $2,000 (the floor at which UNLOCK becomes available, assuming the cycle threshold and trading objectives are met).
| Model · Cycle | Your split | × Multiplier | = Prime size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Step · 80% Bi-Weekly | $2,000 × 80% = $1,600 | ×16.67 | $26,672 |
| 2 Step · 60% Weekly | $2,000 × 60% = $1,200 | ×10 | $12,000 |
| 2 Step Pro · 80% Weekly | $2,000 × 80% = $1,600 | ×16.67 | $26,672 |
| Zero · 95% Bi-Weekly | $2,000 × 95% = $1,900 | ×20 | $38,000 |
Once you're on the Prime Account, the Scaling Plan begins. Each level has a cumulative 10% profit target. When you reach it, request a scale-up; your account size grows by 30% of the current level's account size, and Smart Max Loss resets from the new base. Repeat across every level on the way to $2M.

How does the 10% profit target work?
The profit target is 10% of the current level's account size, measured against your cumulative profit on the Prime. There's no time limit. Daily rewards can be requested at any time.
On a $100,000 Level 1 Prime, your target is $10,000. After scaling to $130,000, your next target is $13,000.
- Make 3% profit, request your 70% reward, request it. Your cumulative profit counter still reads 3%.
- Make another 3% profit, request again. The cumulative counter now reads 6%.
- Make another 4% profit, request again. Cumulative counter hits 10% and your account scales by 30% and you reach the next PRIME level.
- Your cumulative counter keeps building toward the next scale-up. Nothing resets.
How does the Scale-Up work?
Once your cumulative profit covers the level's 10% target, you become eligible to scale up. The scale-up is upon request: submit it through your dashboard when you're ready. Your account size grows by 30% of your current Prime size, and the new profit target and Smart Max Loss are recalculated immediately from the new base. The Prime account number does not change at scale-up. Scale-up processing takes up to 3 business days from your request.
You can keep trading past the scale-up target without requesting. Profits continue to accumulate. If your cumulative covers multiple scale-up targets, you can submit multiple scale-up requests in sequence, one per level.
Example. $100,000 Level 1 Prime, cumulative reaches $10,000. You request the scale-up. Account becomes $130,000. New target: $13,000. Smart Max Loss resets from the $130,000 base. The cumulative counter carries the $10,000 forward; to scale from L2 to L3 your cumulative needs to reach $23,000 ($10,000 + $13,000).
How does the 70% reward split work on Prime?
You keep 70% of all profits on Prime. FundingPips keeps 30%. Rewards are available daily, with no limit on how many you can request per day; each requested amount is removed directly, so trading continues without waiting for processing. The minimum reward is 1% of the account balance (including FundingPips' split). Transfers are subject to exchange rates and transaction fees.
End-of-day split FundingPips' 30% split is removed at the end of each trading day. If you request a reward earlier in the day that captures the day's full profit, the 30% has already come out via the reward split and there's no additional EOD split. If profit is left on the account through EOD, the 30% is deducted then. Any profit earned after a reward request, before EOD on the same day, has its 30% deducted at EOD.
Example. Early in the day, you close $5,000 profit and request it as a reward: $3,500 is available to you, $1,500 is FundingPips' split, and the $5,000 leaves the Prime balance. Later the same day, you close an additional $3,000 profit and don't request it. At EOD, $900 (30% of $3,000) is deducted; $2,100 stays on-account as your split. If you end the day with profits, but your cumulative profits did not increase, the 30% will not be deducted.
How does the 2% Soft Daily Loss work?
A 2% Soft Daily Loss applies on Prime Accounts. This is 2% of the higher of daily opening balance or equity. If realised or unrealised losses hit this level, trading is paused for the rest of the day. The account resumes the next trading day.
This is a soft breach. The account is not closed. The daily limit resets at 00:00 Platform Time (UTC+3).
How does the Smart Max Loss work?
On Prime, the Max Loss is a trailing drawdown floor, not a fixed level. It starts below your opening balance and trails upward as your highest recorded balance grows, in real time. It never moves down.
The floor stops trailing once your balance reaches the model's lock threshold. At that point the floor locks at the model's lock floor and stays fixed until your next scale-up.
| Model | Drawdown | Start floor | Lock floor | Locks when balance reaches |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Step | 10% | $90,000 | $93,000 | $103,000 |
| 2 Step Pro | 6% | $94,000 | $96,000 | $102,000 |
| 1 Step | 6% | $94,000 | $96,000 | $102,000 |
| Zero | 5% | $95,000 | $97,000 | $102,000 |
The percentages are size-independent and apply to any Prime size. Distance from starting balance to lock floor: 7% on 2 Step, 4% on 2 Step Pro and 1 Step, 3% on Zero. Lock trigger (balance growth at which the floor locks): +3% on 2 Step and +2% on the other three models.
Trailing mechanic. When your balance reaches a new highest recorded balance, the floor moves up to (highest recorded balance − drawdown amount). When balance stays at or below the prior high, the floor stays where it is. When balance reaches the lock threshold, the floor locks at the lock floor and stops trailing permanently.
The floor is monitored in real time. Only closed trades move your highest recorded balance and the trailing floor. Floating losses on open positions don't push the floor up. The breach, however, is equity-based: if equity touches or drops below the floor, even briefly, the account is breached. Both floating PnL on open positions and realised closed-trade losses count.

Reaching Level 10 or growing your Prime Capital to $2M (whichever comes first) marks your move from retail trader to professional fund manager. Your Prime Account journey has built a verified, audited track record. At this point your strategy is listed on Tradin, where investors allocate capital to copy your trades, and you earn a profit split on every dollar they invest, stacked on top of your 70% Prime reward split.
Your trading capacity sits in two separate pools. Max Allocation is the max on your evaluation and Master accounts. Prime Capital is the max on your Prime Accounts. The two pools operate independently.
- Covers active evaluation, Master, and Prime accounts. Active Primes consume Max Allocation at their account size (the scaled amount doesn't count); Unlocked Masters are closed and no longer consume.
- Starts at $300,000.
- Each time a Master Unlocks to Prime, Max Allocation increases by 50% of the new Prime's account size (the Prime size after your reward split and model multiplier are applied).
- When a Prime is breached, Max Allocation is permanently reduced by 75% of the Prime's account size. The scaled amount isn't counted in the breach penalty; only the Prime size at Unlock matters.
- Maxed at $600,000.
- The total size of all your active Prime Accounts combined, including scaled-up capital.
- Each Master that Unlocks to Prime adds its Prime size (set by your reward split and model multiplier) to Prime Capital.
- Scaling up an existing Prime grows Prime Capital further. Scale-ups do not grow Max Allocation.
- Prime Capital is not reduced by breaches in the same way as Max Allocation. A breached Prime simply closes and its size leaves the Prime Capital total.
- Maxed at $2,000,000 across all your Primes combined.
Each Master reaches the 10% profit and Unlocks on the 60% Weekly cycle. Each Prime opens at $60,000 ($10,000 × 60% × 10). The walkthrough shows how each Unlock affects your Max Allocation and what happens when a Prime is breached.
Markets are unpredictable. The Comeback Rule exists because skill shouldn't be permanently locked out, no matter how many times a trader needs to rebuild. There is no limit on how many times it can be triggered.
