Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Updated yesterday

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. Once enabled, you'll be asked to enter a verification code from your authenticator app each time you sign in. This ensures that even if someone has your password, they cannot access your account without your device.

How to enable 2FA

Before you get started, make sure you have an authenticator on your device.

  1. Sign in to your FundingPips account.

  2. Click the gear icon on the left sidebar to open Settings.

  3. Select Security from the settings menu and navigate to the Two-Factor Authentication section.

  4. You'll see it currently shows as Disabled in red; Click Enable 2FA.

  5. A setup screen will appear with a QR code. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code.

  6. If you're unable to scan the QR code, click the copy icon next to the code displayed on screen and manually enter it into your authenticator app instead.

  7. Enter your FundingPips account password in the password field.

  8. Enter the six-digit verification code generated by your authenticator app into the code fields on screen.

  9. Click Activate 2FA to complete the setup.

Tip: Your authenticator app generates a new code every 30 seconds. Make sure to enter the code before it refreshes.
