How FP Score Factors Work Together

Updated over 5 months ago

Our scoring system recognizes that excellent trading comes from the combination of multiple factors working in harmony:

Synergistic Effects (Score Boosters)

  • High RR + High WR + High TP/SL: This combination can achieve maximum scores. You make more on winners, win frequently, and manage risk properly.

  • High Consistency + High RR: Even with moderate winning ratios, consistent traders with excellent risk-reward ratios score very well.

  • Disciplined Risk Management: Consistent use of TP/SL orders while maintaining reasonable Risk-Reward ratios demonstrate discipline and boosts scoring.

Alternative Scoring Patterns

Based on our scoring logic, you can achieve good scores through different paths:

Path 1 - The High Win Rate Trader

  • High WR + Medium RR + High TP/SL usage = Good to Exceptional scores

    Example:
Win most of your trades, maintain reasonable profit-to-loss ratios, always use risk management

Path 2 - The Big Winner Trader

  • High RR + Medium WR + High TP/SL usage = Good to Exceptional scores

    Example:

Win fewer trades but make significantly more on winners than you lose on losers

Path 3 - The Consistent Performer

  • High Consistency + Medium RR + Medium WR + High TP/SL = Good scores

    Example:
Steady, predictable growth with disciplined risk management

Scoring Penalties

  • Low TP/SL Usage: Even excellent RR and WR can't fully compensate for poor risk management discipline.

  • Low Consistency + Low RR: Erratic performance with poor risk-reward ratios typically results in below-average scores.

  • Low WR + Low RR: Losing frequently while also losing more than you make is a path to poor scores
