Monthly Competition

The FundingPips Monthly Competition is a free monthly trading competition where traders compete under the same rules for a chance to win rewards.

About This Competition

Each month, traders compete for $5,000 in cash and $675,000 worth of Evaluation accounts. The competition is limited to 50,000 participants, and all accounts start with a $100,000 balance.

How to Get Started

Join the competition

Confirm your spot during the registration period. Your **$100,000** competition account is issued instantly after registration.

Trade for the month

Trade from the first trading day to the last trading day of the month, under the same rules and risk limits as every other participant.

Get rewarded

The top 20 places win cash and Evaluation account prizes, and 13 random participants ranked 4th–1000th win a $100 cash compensation prize.

How is the Max Daily Loss calculated?

Max Daily Loss: 5% of the higher value between your opening balance or opening equity for that day.

At the start of each trading day, the system records both your balance and your equity. Whichever is higher becomes the baseline. Your equity cannot fall more than 5% of that baseline at any point during the day, including floating losses from open trades. The limit resets at 00:00 Platform Time.

How is the Max Overall Loss calculated?

Max Overall Loss: 10% of the starting account size ($10,000 on a $100,000 account).

Your equity or balance can never fall 10% below the starting account size for the life of the competition account. Breaching this limit disqualifies the account immediately and is not resettable.

What trading platform is the Monthly Competition on?

Is my spot in the Monthly Competition guaranteed once I qualify?

No. Only 50,000 traders can join each month, on a first come, first served basis. Once the limit is reached, entries are close for that month.

Can I use an Expert Advisor (EA) during the Monthly Competition?

No. EA execution is prohibited during the Monthly Competition. This applies to all EAs without exception, including third-party EAs and personal EAs developed. The personal EA, proof of ownership exception available on standard accounts does not apply to the monthly competition.

What happens if I breach the daily or overall loss limit?

Breaching either the 5% Max Daily Loss or the 10% Max Overall Loss disqualifies the account from the competition. The limits are enforced automatically, so there is no discretionary review once a breach has occurred.

Does everyone who enters win something?

No. Prizes go to the top 20 places. Beyond that, thirteen random participants ranked from 4th to 1000th place receive a $100 cash compensation prize. Placing outside these ranges does not carry a reward.
