Competition Rules (Fair Play)

To ensure fair play and maintain the integrity of the competition, the following rules apply:

  • 10% Maximum Loss Limit
  • 5% Daily Loss Limit
  • No EAs Allowed: Expert Advisors are prohibited in this competition.
  • No Unrealistic Fills: Taking advantage of demo environment fills is prohibited.
  • One Account Per Person: Multiple accounts are strictly forbidden.
Breaching any of these rules will result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
Accessing Your Account

Competition account credentials and the website link are different from your regular evaluation accounts. To access your competition account:

  1. Access the competition platform via this link.
  2. Log in using the MatchTrader competition account details found in the 'Credentials' section of your FundingPips dashboard.
Make sure you are using the correct link and credentials to avoid access issues.

Account Merging

As a Master Account trader, you have the flexibility to consolidate multiple Master Accounts into a single high-equity pool, maximising buying power through a unified balance, or maintain them as separate entities to diversify risk across independent portfolios.

Compatibility Rules

You can only merge accounts of the same model.

  • 1 Step Master with 1 Step Master
  • 2 Step Master with 2 Step Master
  • 2 Step Pro Master with 2 Step Pro Master
Important Limitations

Merging is not supported on FundingPips Zero.

  • Reward Cycle: Based on the first purchased account
Merging is permanent
Once accounts have been merged, the process cannot be reversed. The merged account operates as a single entity going forward. Make sure you are comfortable with the merge before confirming.
Your platform and reward cycle will change
After merging, your platform and reward cycle are determined by the first purchased account. If you are close to a reward milestone on a secondary account, consider this before proceeding; that cycle does not carry over.

Prime Account Merging

Prime Accounts can also be merged. By default, each Master that Unlocks to Prime upgrades to a separate Prime Account; there is no automatic merge into a single Prime. To consolidate two Prime Accounts, contact support to initiate the request; operations handles the merge.

The higher level wins
When two Prime Accounts are merged, the resulting account takes the higher of the two scale-up levels. The lower level is not retained; further scaling continues from the higher level forward.

Evaluation Reset

If your evaluation account is breached due to trading behaviour or risk violations, a discounted reset option is available to help you restart quickly without changing your setup.

Resets are available for 7 calendar days after the breach, apply to the same model and account size (1 Step, 2 Step, 2 Step Pro), and do not apply to FundingPips Zero. The reset option appears automatically on your dashboard.

  • Validity: The reset option is only available within 7 calendar days of the breach. Once the window closes, it can no longer be accessed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for the monthly competition?

Registration details for the monthly competition are announced each month. Check your FundingPips dashboard and email communications for the registration link and deadline. The competition is capped at 50,000 participants, so register early once it opens.

When and how are competition prizes distributed?

Prizes are distributed after the competition concludes at the end of each month. Cash prizes are paid to winners directly, and evaluation accounts are credited to the winning accounts. FundingPips will contact winners with the details. If you have not received your prize within a reasonable timeframe, contact the support team.

Can I merge a Master Account with a Prime Account?

No. Merging is only available between Master Accounts of the same model. A Master Account and a Prime Account operate under different conditions and cannot be merged together.

Can I merge two Prime Accounts together?

Yes, but only by trader request. Contact support to initiate the merge; operations handles the process. Do I get a reset if my Master Account is breached?

No. Evaluation Resets are only available when you fail Phase 1 or Phase 2 of a standard evaluation (1 Step, 2 Step, or 2 Step Pro). Breaching a Master Account does not trigger a reset option.

Can I use my reset on a different model or account size?

No. The reset applies only to the same model and account size as the breached account. It keeps the same account number, reward cycle, and trading platform. It cannot be transferred to a different model or size, and does not apply to FundingPips Zero.
